HONOURING THE BOND:
grief tending & pet loss support
a sanctuary for your grief
When the physical presence of a beloved companion transitions into memory, the landscape can feel vast and unfamiliar. Here, belonging means a resonant space among others who understand, where the unspoken is understood and grief is given room to breathe.
This time is curated for you to:
Alleviate fatigue in your body, mind, or emotional landscape, reduce stress, escape the pressures of a to-do list, or foster curiosity in something new
Explore an understanding of the different needs of rest in a workshop style introduction before embedding these inquiries into restoration practices
Connect, unwind & nourish through guided soma practices & restorative postures close to the earth: expansive time to dream, create, rest, heal, and imagine
Nurture a sense of belonging as the unique individual you are, whilst simultaneously contributing as a vital member and potent recipient of a rest collective
This is a workshop style immersion designed to equip and empower you with knowledge to create your optimal replenishment every time you choose to rest.
You can expect to lean into yogic philosophy as a framework of support for your own innate wisdom, your body’s natural rhythms and requirements for down-regulation/unwinding and a remembrance of your right to intentional & essential rest.
You may recognise the importance of rest, perhaps feeling the weight of burnout, overwhelm, fatigue or stress yet, you might experience or leave your rest practices feeling that your individual needs remain unaddressed: the moments we do carve out for this kind of self-nourishment asks to be nurturing, profound, transformative and cognisant of the needs of our individual and collective seasons. Together, we will delve into some of the tools and time that support the creation of meaningful, personalised attunement, surpassing vogue, generic practices.
Please dress in comfortable, warm clothing. If you have any personal items that offer you comfort and security, feel free to bring them. No prior experience is necessary to participate, but if you have questions or concerns about the practices involved, please get in touch.
